Battery Creek High School is a 4-year public high school in Beaufort, South Carolina. It is one of the three public high schools in Beaufort along with Beaufort High School and Whale Branch Early College High School, and is sometimes listed as being in Burton, South Carolina, an unincorporated sub-area of the Beaufort Urban Cluster. It, along with Hilton Head Island High School in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina are the two high schools that offer the prestigious International Baccalaureate program in Beaufort County. Battery Creek has one feeder middle school, Robert Smalls Middle School, which also offers the IB program; the school has three feeder elementary schools; Broad River Elementary School, a school offering the IB program; Shell Point Elementary School; and Shanklin Elementary School. The school, along with the other high schools in Beaufort County, have started to require uniforms (Blue, White, or Gold polo shirt with Navy blue or Khaki pants) starting with the 2010-2011 school year.
